The WiSER2400.IP is an 802.11b client station radio that allows the RS-232 device to connect to a wireless access point as well as other 802.11b wireless devices such as the wireless PCMCIA card or USB adapter. It is a true plug and play wireless adapter that can be installed on the host device with NO drivers. In addition to eliminating the RS-232 cable, the WiSER2400.IP acts as a media converter from RS-232 to wireless Ethernet. This could allow for faster transfer rates to serial devices that were previously limited by long RS-232 cables and noise interference.
